News On Update 2.8 Website

Once again we have added a few new features/functions to our website to help our customers whilst shopping with us.  This will include a complete rework of our gallery with new categories for images and buttons/links to help mobile users.

Gallery [Version 2.0] Reworked Design - Categories:

We have completely reworked the design of the gallery, this includes a fresh new look on the gallery layout with category buttons that allow users to only see specific images.  For example, if the customer wanted to only see the finished customer installation pictures.  Then pressing customer installs will show them only customer installation pictures. 

Gallery [Version 2.0] Reworked Design - Separate Headings:

Each page will include separate headings if the pictures are for example Aluminium windows on the windows tab category.  This allows the user to know what they are looking at exactly.

Gallery [Version 2.0] Reworked Design - Page Navigation:

For Improvements to stability and performance, we have added pages and page navigation at the bottom of each gallery page.  This allows for the previously mentioned improvements because the user's device won't have to load all pictures at once and instead will only have to load a select few.

Gallery [Version 2.0] Reworked Design - On Hover Zoom:

 Now all images on the gallery will zoom in when the customer hovers there mouse over an image or on mobile if you hold on images whilst scrolling without pressing.

This will give the customer a bigger picture and get a better look at things.

Button/Links to provide better accessibility to mobile users:

 Customers that use our website on a Smart Phone, will now be able to access more webpages within the website much easier.   On the homepage, if the user scrolls down at about the middle of the page there is a button that takes the user to look at our website brochures.

Then going further down to the bottom of the page there are now added links under information to newly made pages.

Homepage Factsheets:

Customers will now be able to see on the homepage, near to the bottom of the page, all our new factsheets for new products.  These pages will give the customer more detailed information on new products.

Bug Fixes for improvements to stability/performance:

In this update there was a few bugs issues that are now resolved that caused something to happen that wasn't intended.  For example, on the testimonial page and news & update pages, they now display posts in order of the date posted.  Newer posts displaying first.

There were some fixes that just improved customers experience on the website.

COVID-19 Notice Page:

Details on COVID-19 situation at EasyFit Window Warehouse.

This is to be updated when anything changes and will have a date of last updated within the banner and on the page, so you can keep within the loop.

News On Update 2.6 Website

Today we have added a few new features/functions to our website to help our customers whilst shopping with us.

Header Navigation:

When the customer scrolls down the page, the top header will disappear and reappear when the user scrolls back up.  The orange navigation bar is still present when the user scrolls down for ease of access for desktop users of the website.

The mobile version of the website will have it all disappear.  This allows the customer to view more of the content on the page they are on.

Scroll To The Top Button:

  Another feature added that goes with the previously mentioned function for ease of access for the customer.  When the customer scrolls down the page, they will see an orange arrow button appear on the bottom left corner of their screens, once the customer has pressed this button it will automatically take them back to the top of the page. 

[For Desktop/Mobile Users]

Facebook Messenger Plugin:

 This new feature will allow customers to contact through the website to our Facebook Page as a guest or using their Facebook account.

On any of our pages on our website, you will see an orange Messenger icon at the bottom right corner of the screen [Desktop/Mobile Users]  

When the user presses the button it will open a popup window for messenger asking to log in to their Facebook account or as a guest.  You can message us your questions or even what you are looking for and we will try to help you the best we can and get a quote started for you. 

[Important Note] Using a guest account will allow for the message chat to save for up to 24 hours.  Using your Facebook account will allow the chat to save forever.

So, if you go to the news page on the website you will find information about new products, other products that we make, news and more! We will be keeping this page up to date with new products that we are selling and interesting facts and information on some of our products. We hope that our customers enjoy this section on our website! - Kieran
